Insight: A Poem

Angels have become us

and everyone is part of our making.

Out of desire turned rancid

a lust impenetrable

the abusive laughingstock of all their farce -

We fall.

We catch the rifts

(or they catch us)

We take off, knowing

nothing of interpretation's

degradation but its pain,

knowing to forgive

everything without apology.

And we swing low

hearing their sorrowful cries.

We carry all we can,

bringing our peace home,

sharing a precious solitude

brought by the unfathomable marriage of our souls;

an unbelievable love to have faith in.
