Rare: A Poem

Have you ever felt a full, pregnant silence?

Never the emptiness of quietness, but its clarity?

That languorous comfort of non-speech,

chords enveloping atmosphere, weighted

ambiance of contemplation,

none-the-wiser.

What a yawning consolation given

to those who dare pondering

the infinite.
